In the last period the epizootic diseases were diagnosed by way of separating pathogens or using standard serum and antigen. But these diagnostic methods were unpopular as they need much time as well as much reagent and cost.

So, researchers of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea have recently established a new diagnosis system by applying ultra-modern biotechnology, a system that ensures selecting and differentiating in a short time various kinds of pathogens including prrsv (porcine reproduction respiratory syndrome virus) and pseudo rabies virus.

This system helps diagnose epizootic diseases rapidly and accurately without separating and identifying pathogens and using standard serum and antigen.

It is now widely introduced to the livestock farming in the country.
