DPRK's Birthday Marked by Koreans' Paper in Uzbekistan

Pyongyang, September 13 (KCNA) -- Thongil, the newspaper of Koreans published in Uzbekistan, devoted a special write-up to the 64th anniversary of the DPRK. The newspaper carried an article entitled "Sep. 9, the founding day of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea." The article said that the august name and the exploits of President Kim Il Sung who founded the DPRK and led the Korean revolution of various stages to victory are shinning with this day. The DPRK eradicated the leftovers of the colonial rule of the Japanese imperialists in a short period after its foundation was proclaimed, achieved great successes in building a new society and won a victory in the Fatherland Liberation War, the article noted, and went on: The DPRK is now working steady miracles in all fabrics of society and adhering to the line of the Songun revolution. |
