Jong Sun Ok, a deputy director of the Koryo Medicine Production Bureau of the Ministry of Public Health, told KCNA:

"We are making efforts to timely send medical herbs and fruits to Koryo medicine factories to ensure smooth production of traditional medicines."

North Hwanghae, Jagang and South Hamgyong provinces take the lead in cultivating medical plants.
