S. Korean Regime's Policy of Toeing U.S. Policy under Fire
Pyongyang, September 14 (KCNA) -- The present collapse of the inter-Korean relations is the natural outcome of the south Korean Lee Myung puppet regime's policy of toeing outsiders' policies and its moves to escalate confrontation with compatriots.

Rodong Sinmun Friday says this in a bylined article. It cites facts to prove this.

The successive regimes in south Korea have been nothing but tools for the U.S. colonial rule as their bosses have been running dogs for carrying out its policy of aggression, it notes, and goes on:.

No sooner had the Lee group seized power than enforced the worst pro-U.S. sycophantic policy, further deepening the U.S. colonial rule over south Korea and subjugation in all its fields including politics, military and economy.

It cried out for "tightened alliance" with the U.S. contrary to the desire of the nation for independence, reviving south Korea's relations of dependence upon the U.S. in all fields.

The Lee group even said it was a "big mistake" that ancestors set fire to the U.S. ship for aggression "General Sherman" and sent it to the bottom of the river and later erected "monuments to beating back the foreign aggression" in various places. It added that "such mistake should not be repeated."

Describing the idea of "By our nation itself" reflected in the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration as "narrow-minded nationalism" and "chauvinistic nationalism", the Lee group spelled out "no nukes, opening and 3 000 dollars" as "a policy toward the north", a replica of the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK, seriously bedeviling the north-south relations.

Asserting that dialogue is possible only when "the north dismantles its nukes," the group derailed all north-south dialogues and cooperation undertakings under the pretext of the nuclear issue. It worked with bloodshot eyes to ratchet up sanctions against the DPRK worldwide in close cooperation with its American master. It, at the same time, kicked up a noisy anti-DPRK racket not only in south Korea but even in the international arena over the non-existent "human rights issue" at the zealous prodding of the U.S.

The Lee group in zealous pursuance of the U.S. policy is mainly aimed at doing harm to compatriots by force of arms, backed by its master.

The Korean nation can neither pave the way for independent reunification, peace and prosperity nor escape a war disaster as long as such worst sycophants and traitors are allowed to stay in office, concludes the article.
