Minju Joson Raps Outbursts of Confrontation Maniacs in S. Korea

Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- Ryu U Ik, puppet minister of Unification of south Korea, on September 12 trumpeted about "normal development of the inter-Korean relations" and the like, asserting that south Korea would pursue "a flexible policy toward the north." Earlier, the vice-minister of Unification of south Korea talked such nonsense at a seminar at the "National Assembly" that "the north's nuclear development and military provocations weakened the public support for the south-north economic cooperation". He even cried out for the "north's sincere attitude". Minju Joson Saturday in a bylined commentary says in this regard: What the above-said mandarins uttered is nothing but sophism reminding one of a thief crying "Stop the thief!" From the very outset of its office, the Lee Myung Bak group of south Korea insisted that dialogue and cooperation are possible only when the north dismantles its nukes and opts for opening in total denial of the north-south declaration and spelled out "no nukes, opening and 3 000 dollars" as its "policy toward the north", bedeviling the inter-Korean relations. The action taken by the DPRK to bolster up its nuclear deterrent is a self-defensive measure to protect the peace of the country and security of the nation to cope with the moves of the south Korean group of traitors to bedevil the inter-Korean relations and escalate the danger of a war on the Korean Peninsula in collusion with the U.S. The army and people of the DPRK have finished their preparations to launch a decisive battle for wiping out the group of traitors at a blow, pursuant to the operational plan of the Supreme Command, if it dares provoke a war. The group of traitors is now pretending to be concerned for the issue of reunification. Why? It is its ulterior intention to justify its confrontation policy and shift the responsibility for the collapse of the inter-Korean relations onto the north in a bid to prolong its remaining days, taken aback by the mounting resolution of the army and people of the DPRK to settle accounts with it through a great war for national reunification. With no rhetoric can the Lee group of traitors escape a stern punishment by history, warns the commentary. |
