Beijing, September 14 (KCNA) -- Beijing Daily of China recently carried an article titled "Everybody should see through the real intention of Hillary whose deeds do not agree with her words". The U.S. secretary of State made remarks pleasant to the ear of China in her recent visit to it, the paper said, ridiculing that she seemed to forget she spoke ill of China by using such words as "mean" and "arbitrary". The paper urged its readers not to be taken in by the honeyed words of the U.S. politicians. It is the U.S. interests to protect its hegemony, the paper said, adding: After the demise of the Cold War, the U.S. tried hard to retain its position as "the eldest brother" by ceaselessly tapping all natural resources and strength. All those countries that looked like "potential enemies" were subject to merciless sanctions and attack. The U.S. did not hesitate to launch several wars for meeting its interests. It has always been behind small and big regional conflicts and international disputes. The U.S. has found itself self-contradictory in its relations with China, the paper said, adding it is not odd that the deeds of U.S. politicians do not agree with their words. The paper urged people not to harbor any illusion about them, stressing that it is most important to keep to their own roads. |
