The September 4th issue of Xing San Daily of Thailand devoted one whole page to commemorative articles illustrated with the photo of smiling President Kim Il Sung.

The paper said:

President Kim Il Sung, father of socialist Korea, laid down a unique line of the anti-imperialist, anti-feudal democratic revolution in conformity with the actual conditions of Korea in the period of the anti-Japanese armed struggle.

He chose the road of democracy of Korean style, progressive democracy, in the period of building a new society after Korea's liberation. He originally pushed ahead with the socialist revolution and construction in line with the requirements of the Korean people and the specific conditions of Korea, not wedded to the experience of other countries or existing formulas.

The line of Songun politics which Chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission Kim Jong Il, successor to the idea and cause of Kim Il Sung, was a steadfast independent line which helped the DPRK reliably protect the sovereignty and dignity of the country by its own efforts in the world at present when it is exposed to the imperialists' aggression and arbitrary practices.

The President set forth the original line of building an independent national economy and the line of bolstering up the self-reliant national defence capacity, turning the DPRK into an invincible socialist power.

The DPRK is steered by supreme leader Kim Jong Un, the paper said, adding it will always remain shining as an independent power.

The Indian paper Fashion India carried an article entitled "Heritage of Leader Kim Jong Il" on Sept. 3.

On the same day Krishna Aberta of India dedicated a whole page to the articles "Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism" and "Towards the high eminence of Thriving Nation" under the headline of "On the 64th birthday of the DPRK".

The Cambodian paper Pracheachon on Sept. 5 carried a special write-up interwoven with a photo of the dear respected Kim Jong Un and an article praising his personality as a great man.
