The DPRK has constantly looked for ways for dialogue and cooperation even at a time when the north-south standoff has become serious due to the emergence of the present puppet regime in south Korea, says the article, adding:

The DPRK's stand stemmed from its view that the north and the south are the same nation and should pool their efforts for reunification.

The Lee Myung Bak regime, seized by a pipe dream of "contingency", leveled the gun at its fellow countrymen who were grieving over the greatest loss and made such hideous provocations as insulting the dignity of the supreme leadership one after another. It went the lengths of plotting a politically-oriented terrorism unprecedented in history, just like a declaration of war against the DPRK.

There is no other option but to deal a merciless blow with arms to the confrontation maniacs bereft of reasons -- this is the last conclusion the DPRK has drawn from the ruling period of the Lee's conservative group.

In order to ensure durable peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula, it is necessary to remove the sources of war.

It is the steadfast will of the DPRK to reunify the country by severely punishing the warmongers who are going reckless under a scenario for mounting a preemptive attack on the DPRK and thus ensure durable peace and stability on the peninsula.

The army and people of the DPRK are awaiting the last order for fighting a great war for reunifying the country.
