The statement denounced Japan for running amuck to grab Tok Islets and the U.S. for patronizing it.

It said the Japanese government has run ads in newspapers from Sept. 11 in the name of the Foreign Ministry, asserting Tok Islets are Japan's territory.

Japan put ads titled "Tok Islets are inviolable land of Japan from a historical point of view and in light of international law" in about 70 papers of central and local areas and this campaign lasted a week, the statement said, and went on:

This propaganda was aimed to negate the historical fact that Tok Islets belong to Korea and to evade the responsibility for the past crimes interwoven with aggression.

The U.S. is a conspirator that shelters Japan as regards the matter of Tok Islets.

This is part of the U.S. strategy for holding world hegemony to win south Korea together with Japan and form the military alliance for aggression.

The statement demanded Japan stop false ad campaign and apologize for its past crimes.

It also said the U.S. had better make an apology for its shameless moves concerning the issue of Tok Islets before the international community.
