DPRK's Birthday Observed at DPRK Missions Abroad

Pyongyang, September 18 (KCNA) -- Diverse events took place at DPRK missions abroad to celebrate the 64th anniversary of the DPRK from Sept. 5 to 14. Receptions were given and book, photo and art exhibitions and film shows were held at DPRK missions in Cuba, Iran, India, Pakistan, Kuwait, Guinea, Democratic Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Uganda, Bulgaria, Uzbekistan, Poland, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden, Great Britain, Austria, Germany, Peru, Mexico and Brazil. On display in the venues of the events were photos showing the revolutionary feats of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the dear respected Kim Jong Un. Also on display there were works of the peerlessly great men and other books and photos and fine art pieces showing the path covered by the DPRK. Korean films shown included "Pyongyang at Night," "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation" and "Pyongyang Today." Present at the events on invitation were officials of governments, political parties, parliaments, organizations, institutions, organizations for the study of the Juche idea, bodies for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people of relevant countries, those of international and regional organizations and non-governmental organizations and diplomats of various countries. Foreign high ranking officials praised the feats of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in founding and developing the DPRK. Among them were the minister of Traffic of Pakistan, minister of Foreign Affairs and Overseas Compatriots of Guinea, general secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Francophone Affairs of Democratic Congo and the minister of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uganda. They highly praised Kim Jong Un as another great man identical to Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in idea, leadership ability and personality. |
