Pyongyang, September 19 (KCNA) -- Meetings took place in Russia, Finland and Ecuador from Sept. 4 to 7 to celebrate the 64th anniversary of the DPRK. On display at the venues of the meetings were works of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and other Korean books and photos showing the glorious history of the DPRK. Dmitri Kostenko, chairman of the Russian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, said Korea, which was a colony of the Japanese imperialists in the past, is now demonstrating its might as an invincible power. This set a typical example of building an independent state for the world people, he said, adding: The achievements of the DPRK are a fruition of the Juche idea and Songun politics. The most important factor was that the Korean people were fortunate to have been led by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. Antti Sika Aho, chairman of the Finland-Korea Society, said the foundation of the DPRK and its development would be unthinkable without the great exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. Their revolutionary cause is being successfully carried forward by the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, he stressed. Juha Kieksy, chairman of the Finnish National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, hoped that the Korean people would achieve bigger successes in building an economic power and implementing the cause of national reunification holding high the banner of the Juche idea true to the leadership of Kim Jong Un. Trotsky Serano, president of the Canar Provincial Institute for the Friendship and Solidarity with the DPRK of Ecuador, extended full support and solidarity to the Korean people advancing for the final victory under the Songun leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un. A message of greeting to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting in Finland. |
