A fresh turn has been effected in the development of agriculture and stock-breeding and in the efforts to solve the issue of fuel in the last two years.

There appeared at least 500 bases for production of hukbosan fertilizer, 18 bases for the production of amino acid microelement composite fertilizer and more than 250 bases for the production of humic acid chloride in the province in a brief span of time to greatly help rev up production and boost agricultural production.

An effective application of organic fertilizers to the co-op farms in the province helped significantly raise the fertility of overall cultivated land and boost grain production.

The growth rate of all crops in each period went up higher than the normal despite whimsical weather conditions this year.

The province channeled great efforts into mass-producing scientifically and technologically guaranteed mineral fertilizers.

A modern silicon potash fertilizer factory with an annual production capacity of tens of thousands of tones was built in an area of the province rich in raw materials, providing a guarantee for increasing the per-hectare grain yield.

Officials, by pooling wisdom with scientists and technicians, successfully settled technological issues arising in using large protein-rich grass which helps increase propagation rate as feed for domestic animals.

They also succeeded in developing additives for stock-breeding by treating chicken excrement as microorganism.

At least 1,200 have appeared in the province in a short span of time to cultivate this species of grass, bringing about progress in the settlement of the issue of feed.

The production of quality organic fertilizers by use of liquid compost from pens of domestic animals and mud from ponds helped establish a cyclic production system in agricultural production and stock-breeding.

The province succeeded in developing additives for low caloric coal which helps increase the economic profitability last year, making a breakthrough in the solution of the issue of fuel.

It technologically updated the Chonnaeri Cement Factory and boosted the production of cement, contributing to energetically pushing forward the construction of hydro-power stations and dwelling houses and road pavement.

The officials and scientists and technicians are intensifying the scientific researches into the projects for reenergizing economy and improving people's living standard after setting higher goals, not remaining self-complacent with their successes.
