Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says in a bylined commentary in this regard:

Such farce staged by the Lee Myung Bak group is nothing but an anti-reunification racket under the signboard of "preparations for unification" and moves for a war of aggression against the north.

This is no more than a poor ruckus for confrontation to cover up their despicable colors as separatists with the word of "unification" and incite the atmosphere of confrontation with fellow countrymen in a bid to realize their ambition for achieving "unification of the social systems" at any cost.

Koreans have failed to achieve reunification not for the lack of money. The burning aspiration and enthusiasm of the Korean nation for independent reunification, peace and prosperity can hardly be compared with any amount of gold.

If the Koreans pool their efforts and implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, they can produce anything and settle any issue.

Can the Lee group win people's mindset by talking about the threadbare unification jar? It is by no means fortuitous that the "Saenuri Party" pinning hope on the bubble-like "logic of the trend" is taking a bitter taste due to the sinking support rate.

The Lee group should bear mind that if it persists in the confrontation of the social systems, going against the trend of the times, it will not be able to escape a miserable end.
