Minju Joson Tuesday says in a bylined commentary in this regard:

This indicates that the moves of the Japanese reactionaries to grab Tok Islets have reached a more reckless phase.

Tok Islets are part of the inviolable territory of Korea and have never belonged to Japan, the commentary says, laying bare the brigandish aims sought by the Japanese reactionaries through their claim to Tok Islets. It goes on:

They are now raising the claim to Tok Islets not because the sovereignty of their territory is being encroached upon by anyone but because they seek to put into practice their long-pursued policy for territorial expansion.

It is their political aim to arm the Japanese with the militarist idea of overseas aggression and hurl them into a war for reinvasion. As the first step for their overseas aggression they singled out Tok Islets as a springboard for it as they are the first gate to invasion of the Asian continent. They are working hard to start a war of overseas aggression through seizure of Tok Islets and lead it to the aggression against the whole of the continent.

The army and people of the DPRK can never pardon the Japanese reactionaries to threaten the peace and security of Asia and violate the sovereignty of the Korean nation.

Tok Islets will remain the territory of the Korean nation forever.
