A closing ceremony took place at Kim Il Sung University on Tuesday.

Present at the closing ceremony were teachers and researchers of the university including Song Ja Rip, president of Kim Il Sung University and minister of Higher Education, and prominent scholars who are members of the delegation of the Eurasia-Pacific Uninet led by Vice-Chairman Wolf-Dieter Rausch.

Kim Kyun, first vice-president of Kim Il Sung University, informed the participants of the achievements made in the biomedical and biotechnological fields including the animal veterinary and husbandry science and recalled that valuable papers conducive to the promotion of people's wellbeing were presented at the conference.

He said that Kim Il Sung University would boost academic exchange with universities in the world affiliated with the Eurasia-Pacific Uninet in the future, too.

At the closing ceremony a letter of thanks to the dear respected Kim Jong Un was adopted.

There were panel discussions prior to the ceremony.

Kim Il Sung University hosted a reception for the participants in the joint scientific conference at Pyongyang Koryo Hotel on Tuesday.
