S. Korea Sentences Member of Pomminryon South to Penal Servitude

| Pyongyang, September 25 (KCNA) -- The Chunchon District Court of south Korea held a trial on an appeal against a member of the South Headquarters of the National Alliance for Korea's Reunification on Sept. 23 and declared him guilty by invoking the notorious "Security Law", according to Yonhap News of south Korea. The court sentenced him to one-year in prison, one-year suspension of qualification and two-year stay of execution, charging that he kept the "Path of the Nation", the organ of the South Headquarters of Pomminryon, and produced and disseminated the "enemy-benefiting" articles the keynote of which is to encourage and praise the north including its "successful launch of 'Kwangmyongsong-2'". |
