Attending the fair are more than 210 companies and entities from 10 odd countries and regions, including the DPRK, China, Netherlands and Germany.

O Il Hun, deputy director of the Korean International Exhibition Corporation, told KCNA:

"The current fair features many high-end products.

The Ryonha Machinery Company exhibits the vertical machining centre (RV-25A), lathe (RT-210), voltage regulator (RCVF-85KVA) and CNC-based cutting tools, which are popular in foreign markets."

Pak Se Chol, an official of the Korean Computer Center, said:

"The centre is participating in the fair with varieties of IT products, including the updated PAD. The PAD contains multi-language dictionary, IT terminology dictionary as well as textbooks and reference books for secondary and primary schoolers."

Meanwhile, the Industrial Technology Company presented an energy-saving electric boiler and the Hana Electronic Joint Venture Company a new type of pocket DVD player.

Among the exhibitors are also the Korean Sungri Economic Trading Corporation, Hi-tech Development Office, Phyongjin Bicycle Joint Venture Company and Saebyol Technology Exchange Office.

The Pyongyang Autumn International Trade Fair helps invigorate trade, joint venture, collaboration, investment and exchange of science and technologies among countries.

The fair will run until September 27.
