Lee Myung Bak Group's Sinister Plot to War against North under Fire

Pyongyang, September 26 (KCNA) -- On Sept. 21 south Korean warships intruded deep into the territorial waters of the DPRK side southwest of Yonphyong Island and fired bullets and shells at random at civilian fishing boats engaged in normal fishing operations. South Korean fighters equipped with missiles made emergency sorties and naval forces in the waters around it were massively reinforced and put on emergency alert, creating an extreme atmosphere of a war.

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:

These reckless moves of the Lee Myung Bak puppet regime are deliberate and premeditated ones to invent a pretext for armed conflict in waters of the West Sea of Korea at any cost and ignite a war against the north under the pretext.

It is the basic scenario of the Lee regime keen on invading the DPRK to unleash a local war in waters around the five islands in the West Sea by taking issue with the DPRK and escalate it into an all-out war.

The said provocation fully revealed the scenario of the Lee regime to spark off an armed conflict at any cost by regarding civilian fishing boats of other country as its operational target and unleash a war against the north.

All facts clearly prove that it is none other than the Lee group of traitors that wrecks the peace and stability in the Korean Peninsula and tries hard to provoke a war while threatening even neighboring countries.
