On Sept. 21 it opened fire without any prior warning at civilian boats engaged in picking blue crabs in the West Sea of Korea. It even put to sea "combined force", a dangerous military provocation.

What enrages us further is its claim that it fired "warning shots" in face of the "north's deliberate and planned acts for military provocation."

This is reckless last-ditch efforts of the Lee regime aimed to prolong its remaining days.

The south Korean warmongers seek to highlight "security" issue in south Korea with the military provocation as an occasion, deter the public from leaning toward the pro-reunification and democratic forces and thus turn the situation in favor of winning the "presidential" election.

The Lee regime is being driven into a tight corner in which it can no longer prolong its political life without committing any provocative act.

It committed the hideous crime of daring hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK and sold off the interests of the south Koreans to foreign forces. For these acts of treachery, the south Korean puppets are finding themselves hard to prolong their remaining days, to say nothing of coming to power again.

It is for this reason that the traitorous regime has resorted to the last means of maximizing the "security concerns created by the north" in a bid to cook up a shocking case for turning the tide in its favor.

Traitor Lee and the "Saenuri Party" are the sworn enemies of the nation as they gambled the destiny of the nation to prolong their remaining days.

The traitorous regime's sordid design can never come true.

The south Koreans are strongly denouncing the puppet forces' act of firing at the civilian boats, which even the south Korean navy admitted that they had "no special tendency", as an intolerable crime against humanity and a wanton violation of the Korean Armistice Agreement.

They are jeering and censuring the puppet forces' moves for the provocation of a war as "wrong act" under the pretext of the bogus "northern limit line" and a "reckless act that had not put the domestic affairs into consideration".

It is clear that this mindset will lead to the stern punishment of the Lee regime.

If the puppet forces finally fire even a bullet into the inviolable territory and territorial waters of the DPRK with an aim to seize power again, far from drawing a lesson from the recent military provocation, the army and people of the DPRK will mercilessly retaliate against the provokers.

Only miserable ruin and death await the Lee regime.
