S. Korean Authorities Accused of Driving Students to Death

| Pyongyang, September 28 (KCNA) -- "Huimang, community of youth and children in the 21st century" called an urgent press conference in front of the building of the south Korean "Ministry of Education, Science and Technology" on Sept. 23 to condemn the south Korean "government" authorities for driving students to death. The speakers deplored at the press conference that youth and children are committing suicides one after another after giving up their hope for learning. The suicides are mainly attributable to the woeful educational situation in south Korean society, they charged. The problem of suicides among young people is nothing new, they noted, denouncing the regime for having shunned it. They urged the regime to take practical steps for enforcing proper education and putting an end to suicides. |
