Minju Joson Slams Lee Myung Bak Regime's Provocations

Pyongyang, September 28 (KCNA) -- The south Korean authorities let many speedboats of the navy intrude deep into the territorial waters of the DPRK southwest of Yonphyong Island along the maritime demarcation line and fire bullets and shells at random at civilian fishing boats on Sept. 21. Minju Joson Friday says in a bylined commentary in this regard: This provocation is touching off bitter resentment among all Koreans as it was a premeditated provocation committed according to the scenario for a war against the DPRK. There is no one who would consider this provocation as an accidental one. Timed to coincide with this firing at peaceful civilian fishing boats, the south Korean warmongers let their fighters equipped with missiles make emergency sorties and massively reinforced their naval forces in the waters around their islands before putting them on emergency alert. Their madcap naval actions were aimed to escalate any armed conflict into an all-out war. The gravity of the development was that the puppet forces deliberately intruded into territorial waters of the DPRK side to spark off an armed conflict and fired bullets and shells at fishing boats of other country. Much upset by this incident which sparked great international uproar, the puppet forces are grumbling "the north's fishing boats trespassed on the 'northern limit line' one after another in recent days", "putting fishing boats at the head is a sort of psychological warfare" and "it is possible to lead to a local war." With no rhetoric reminiscent of a thief crying "Stop the thief!" can they hide their bellicose nature. The Lee Myung Bak group is bound to meet a stern punishment from the nation as it is hell-bent on the moves for a war against the DPRK, going against the public mindset. |
