Ahmadinejad made the remarks in an interview with CNN's Fareed Zakaria in GPS program which was aired on Sunday.

"If the Western countries want to establish security in the region, the first thing they should do is to exit from the Middle East region," he noted.

Asked if any attack is launched against Iran by the Zionist regime what will be Iran's response to that attack, Ahmadinejad responded that Iranians have never ushered in a war, but if any attack takes place Iran can fully defend itself.
