Nepalese Figures Support October 4 Declaration
Pyongyang, October 5 (KCNA) -- Phanindra Raj Pant, secretary general of the Nepalese Association for Supporting the Songun Politics who is co-secretary general of the Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Committee of Nepal, made public a statement on Sept. 27 on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the historic October 4 declaration.

He expressed hope that the Korean people would achieve great success in their struggle for independent and peaceful reunification of the country.

People of Nepal and all other countries loving independence, progress and peace fully support the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and its action programme October 4 declaration, he said.

He bitterly denounced the U.S. for refusing to abide by the resolution of the 30th UN General Assembly which calls for disorganizing the "UN Forces Command" and withdrawing foreign forces from south Korea.

Korea will surely be reunified under the banner of the above-said declarations, he noted, and went on:

In order to achieve peaceful reunification of Korea the south Korean authorities should promptly opt for respecting the inter-Korean declarations, pull out the U.S. nuclear weapons and aggression forces from south Korea and stop all kinds of joint military exercises.

We strongly call for pulling down the concrete wall and abolishing the "Security Law" in south Korea.

All Korean people loving peace and justice will surely achieve country's reunification, a cherished desire of the nation.
