Among the audience were Ri Yong Su, department director of the C.C., the WPK, Kim Jin Ha, secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the WPK, officials of working people's organizations, students, workers and members of trade unions, agricultural workers and members of the women's union.

Poem reciting and singing events were held by youth and students in Pyongyang at the Central Youth Hall. Put on the stage were such colorful numbers as poem "Jubilation in October" and chorus "Glory to Our Great Party".

The performers in their numbers impressively represented the fact that the election of Kim Jong Il as general secretary of the WPK provided a guarantee for the eternal prosperity of the nation and opened up a rosy future of the Korean revolution.

A performance was given by the Workers' Art Group of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea at the Central Workers' House.

Put on the stage were dialogue poem "You Are Our Mother", female vocal trio "Strong Yearning" and other numbers.

The performers highly praised Kim Jong Il for performing undying exploits by developing the WPK, a Juche-oriented party, into a powerful guiding force for the Songun revolution.

Serial of songs "Do Prosper, Era of the Workers' Party", "The Best Country" and "Lets' Go Cheerfully" deeply impressed the audience.

A performance was given by the art group of the C.C., the Union of Agricultural Workers at the Cultural House in Kwaksan County, North Phyongan Province and solo presentation and solo performance were given by members of the women's union at the Women's House in Pyongyang. The performers vividly represented the fact that thanks to the wise leadership of the WPK developed by Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, the nation's dignity and honor would shine forever and a rosy future of the country be guaranteed.
