Enforcement of Universal 12-year Compulsory Education Hailed by British Organizations

Pyongyang, October 6 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the British branch of the Korean Friendship Association made public a joint statement on Sept. 26 hailing the ordinance on enforcing the universal 12-year compulsory education promulgated by the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK.

The DPRK is the only country in the world which enforces the universal 12-year compulsory education, the joint statement said, and went on:

The enforcement of such education would provide the youth and children in the DPRK with better conditions for bringing their talents in fuller bloom.

This bold and innovative measure can be taken only by the DPRK which enforces a policy for the people on the basis of the Juche idea under the leadership of the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un perfectly possessed of personality and qualifications as a popular leader.

This fully reflects the requirements of the IT age and the age of knowledge-based economy.

This would serve as a springboard for promoting the advance for a great surge to build a powerful nation to be envied by the world.
