The letter said that representatives of overseas Koreans' bodies in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States including Russia, China, the U.S., Europe and Canada and other countries and overseas Koreans from all walks of life held the meeting on the theme "National reunification is the desire of all Koreans ".

The participants of the meeting once again confirmed that national reunification is the ardent desire of all Koreans and fully demonstrated the patriotic will of the overseas Koreans to support and defend the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 Declaration and wage a strenuous struggle to implement them.

They noted in the letter that they are confident that the banner of national reunification held aloft by Kim Jong Un to realize the lifelong desire of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the desire of all Koreans would flutter more vigorously.

They wished Kim Jong Un good health and great success in the sacred work for the independent and peaceful reunification of the country and great national unity.
