The National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of Democratic Congo noted in its statement on October 1 that President Kim Il Sung laid down a proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo in the interests of all Koreans in order to peacefully achieve the reunification of the country, and General Secretary Kim Jong Il provided the October 4 declaration, an action programme for carrying out the June 15 joint declaration.

The proposals for national reunification advanced by them have been fully supported by the Korean and world progressive peoples, and their validity and vitality clearly proved in practice, the statement noted.

It extended firm support and solidarity to the just cause of the people of the DPRK to achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country by federal formula under the banner of the October 4 declaration.

The Nigerian Group for the Study of the Songun Politics said in a statement on October 2 that the declaration clearly clarifies the practical ways for national reunification.

The dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un declared "Counter a provocation with a prompt counterattack and a war of aggression with a great, just war for national reunification!" in a speech at the banquet in celebration of August 25, the anniversary of Kim Jong Il's start of Songun revolutionary leadership, adding that this is the principled stand and steadfast will of the Korean people.

The Nigerian group will invariably support the people of the DPRK all out in the struggle for the just cause.
