Kim Yong Nam Greets Ugandan President on Its 50th Independence Day
Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, sent a message of greeting to Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on October 5 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of its independence.

The message recalled that the Ugandan people have made great progress in the efforts to consolidate the political stability and peace of the country and ensure a sustainable development of the national economy under the unerring leadership of the president.

He expressed belief that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries would grow stronger in the future, sincerely wishing the president success in his responsible work and Uganda steady development and prosperity.
