True to the Workers' Party of Korea's policy of educating bereaved children, the school thoroughly established the commanding system of the dear respected Supreme Commander and laid a firm material and technological foundation for education. It made distinguished contributions to glorifying the undying feats of the three commanders of Mt. Paektu forever and training its students to be reliable successors to the revolutionary cause of Juche through substantial teaching and education.

A decree on awarding the order was released by the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK on Sept. 29.
