Kim Jong Un Sends Reply Messages to Party, State Leaders of Various Countries

Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, sent messages to party leaders and heads of state of various countries in reply to their congratulatory messages and letters on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the DPRK. They included the president of China who is also the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the chairman of the Central Military Commission of China, the chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People's Congress, the premier of the State Council of China, the president of the Council of Ministers of Cuba who is also the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and the president of the Council of State of Cuba, the president of Nepal, the president of Laos who is general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the presidents of Lebanon, Maldives, Myanmar and Mongolia, the king of Bahrain, the presidents of Bangladesh, Syria and Sri Lanka, the king of Cambodia, the emir and the prime minister of Kuwait, the king of Thailand, the president of Palestine who is the chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization and the chief o f the Palestinian National Authority, the emir of Qatar, its prime minister who is also the foreign minister, presidents of Cyprus, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, the sultan of Oman, the king of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the presidents of Indonesia, India, Yemen, Greece, Malta, Belarus and Portugal, the captains regent of San Marino, the king of Spain, the presidents of Guinea and Namibia, the president of Nigeria and its commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, the president of Rwanda, the prime minister of Lesotho, the presidents of Mali, Mozambique, Sao Tome and Principe, Sudan, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Seychelles, Equatorial Guinea, the Central African Republic, Zimbabwe, Chad, Kenya, Tanzania, Comoros, Cote d'Ivoire, Congo, Democratic Congo, Togo, Tunisia, Algeria, Angola, Uganda, Egypt, Ethiopia and Suriname. Among them are also the UN general secretary, the director-general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea (IIJI) who is also secretary general of the International Council of Kim Il Sung Prize, the co-chairman of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Foundation and the secretary general of the IIJI. Kim Jong Un in his messages expressed thanks to them for sending him warm congratulations and best wishes. He also wished them success in their work, expressing belief that the friendly and cooperative ties between the DPRK and those countries would steadily and favorably develop. |
