The WPK has a glorious history in which it developed the DPRK into a socialist power--independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence--and led the socialist cause and human independence to victory despite ordeals, they said.

Today the WPK is invariably guiding the Korean revolution to victory under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, they noted, adding:
