DPRK's Important Days Celebrated in Various Countries

Pyongyang, October 11 (KCNA) -- Various events were held in Myanmar, Uganda, Singapore and Austria from Sept. 24 to 27 in the run-up to the 15th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's election as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), the 67th anniversary of the WPK and the 86th anniversary of the Down-with-Imperialism Union.

They included a meeting, seminar and film show.

Displayed at the venues of those events were photos on the revolutionary careers and exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Books and photos introducing Songun Korea were also on display.

Participants of the film shows watched Korean films on the exploits of the peerlessly great men.

Present at those events were personages of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar, Chambogo University of Uganda, a trading company of Singapore, the Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and the DPRK and the Left Bloc of the Austrian Trade Union Federation and masses.
