Title of Labor Hero Awarded to Sports Persons and Coach

| Pyongyang, October 11 (KCNA) -- The title of DPRK Labor Hero with gold medal (hammer and sickle) and the Order of the National Flag First Class were awarded to gold medalists at the 30th Olympics. They were judoka An Kum Ae and weightlifter Kim Un Guk of the April 25 Sports Team, weightlifter Rim Jong Sim of the Kigwancha Sports Team, weightlifter Om Yun Chol of the Amnokgang Sports Team and judo coach Ryu Ju Song of the April 25 Sports Team. The Order of the National Flag First Class of the DPRK was conferred upon weightlifter Ryang Chun Hwa of the April 25 Sports Team and wrestler Yang Kyong Il of the Ryongnamsan Sports Team. Decrees of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly on awarding them were promulgated on Oct. 9. |
