Batrich Mijobich, general secretary of the New Yugoslav Communist Party, noted that the DFRK proposal and the publication of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 declaration, a programme for implementing it, marked historic events of epochal significance in the history of the national reunification movement of the Korean people.

The world progressives fully support them, considering them as the most reasonable practical ways to bring earlier the independent reunification of Korea, he noted.

He strongly urged the U.S. and the south Korean authorities not to conduct any actions contrary to the desire of all Koreans for peace and reunification of the country.
