They were held to mark the 15th anniversary of Kim Jong Il's election as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), the 67th anniversary of the WPK and the 86th anniversary of the Down-with-Imperialism Union.

Present at the seminars were public figures and the masses of the relevant countries.

Parveen Gupta, secretary general of the Indian society, said in his speech:

The eternal General Secretary of the WPK Kim Jong Il published the work "On the Fundamentals of Revolutionary Party Building". The work is a guiding principle as it wisely clarifies the reason why the socialist ruling parties were collapsed in some countries and gives scientific answers to every issue arising in the construction of a revolutionary party and its activities.

This guiding principle for building a revolutionary party will encourage the struggle of the revolutionary parties and progressive people across the world for defending and advancing the cause of independence and socialist cause of the popular masses with its everlasting viability.

Guillermo Alcazar Ribera, chairman of the Peruvian group, and other speakers said the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un made public the work "Let Us Hold Great Comrade Kim Jong Il in High Esteem as General Secretary of Our Party Forever and Successfully Accomplish the Revolutionary Cause of Juche". It is a historical work representing his steadfast will to carry forward the idea, cause and leadership of the preceding leaders of the DPRK.

The DPRK and its people will gain a final victory in their drive to safeguard Juche-type socialism, build a thriving nation and achieve the national reunification under his leadership, they added.
