In this regard, Pak Un Hyok, a student of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School, told KCNA:

"Such schools for children of the revolutionary martyrs can be found only in our country that shines with the august names of the peerlessly great persons and their feats.

Respected Marshal Kim Jong Un sent a letter of deep love and trust to us on the 65th birthday of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School.

The great Generalissimo Kim Il Sung saw to it that the revolutionary school was built to train children of revolutionary martyrs though he had a mountain of work to do for building a new Korea in the liberated country.

His strong sense of obligation to the martyrs and love for the posterity remains still now as evidenced by the letter.

We will prepare ourselves to be dependable backbone of the Songun (military-first) revolution, with this great honor and happiness always kept in our mind."

Ri Min Gyong, a student of Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School, said:

"All things at the school, including educational facilities and bedrooms, are associated with the ardent love of the great persons of Mt. Paektu.

In his letter Marshal Kim Jong Un showed his will to take care of our destiny in a responsible manner, true to the noble intention of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Always cherishing his loving care in my mind, I will reliably inherit the bloodline of Mt. Paektu, the lineage of Mangyongdae.

All the students of the school are hardening their resolve to become vanguard fighters intensely loyal to his Songun leadership."
