The statement hammered the Lee Myung Bak "government" on its plan to hurl conservative organizations into the operations to scatter anti-north leaflets in the area along the Military Demarcation Line in October in the wake of its operations in September.

The statement branded this move as an act of escalating the military tension between the south and the north of Korea and pushing the situation to an extreme phase.

The present "government" mobilized not only conservative organizations but military forces for the operations to scatter leaflets in violation of the agreement between the south and the north on stopping slandering each other, the statement noted, adding this is aimed to destabilize the north.

The statement urged the "government" to stop at an early date the reckless act of increasing the danger of a war.
