The statement accused the conservative forces of becoming evermore vociferous about the row over "the north wind" with the "presidential" election at hand.

It drew attention to the fact that the Ministry of Defense worked out a "standard teaching plan" branding the "forces following the north" as "the enemy of the 'ROK' army" and distributed it to all units as educational guidelines.

The military authorities labeled the "forces following the north" as the "enemy-benefiting forces blindly following the north's strategic line toward the south and the enemy of the army," the statement noted, adding that nine social bodies including the Pan-national Alliance of Youth and Students for Korea's Reunification and the Overseas Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification were added to the list of enemy-benefiting organizations.

The statement held it is nonsensical to suppress such organizations for being "enemy-benefiting organizations," claiming that their call for forcing the U.S. forces to quit south Korea, repealing the "Security Law" and achieving reunification by federal formula was tantamount to blindly following the north's line.

It chided the conservative media for releasing misinformation after joining such campaign.

It urged the conservative group to immediately stop the above-said row aimed to stay in power.
