A merited artist Kim Mi Ran, head of the group, told KCNA:

The group creates varieties of embroideries.

The group, with a history of 30 odd years, has played a big role in the development of the nation's embroidery by employing unique embroidery techniques.

Typical of its products are embroideries "Wild Goose at Moonlit Night", "In Moonlit Evening", "Carp", "Tiger" and "Camellia", a double embroidery "Eight Fairies in Mt. Kumgang" and a large-sized embroidery "Sea of Flowers Representing Best Wishes", which are noted for their delicacy and liveliness. In particular, big embroidery "Mt. Chilbo in Autumn" is considered a masterpiece.

Many embroidery works created by the group won high appreciation at various exhibitions held at home and abroad, and not a few of them were registered as national treasures.

Many creators of the group were awarded the titles of People's Artist and Merited Artist and high state citations.
