DPRK's Important Days Marked in Cambodia, Peru

| Pyongyang, October 16 (KCNA) -- Cambodian and Peruvian bodies released special issues of bulletin on Oct. 3 and 6 to mark the 15th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's election as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, the 67th anniversary of the WPK and the 86th anniversary of the Down-with-Imperialism Union (DIU). The bulletin of the AKP of Cambodia in an article titled "Founder of the WPK" said that President Kim Il Sung formed the DIU with young revolutionaries of the new generation on October 17, 1926. The undying exploits of the President, founder of the WPK, will shine long with the invincible might of the WPK, organizer and guide of all victories of the Korean people, the article added. Kim Jong Suk Library in Peru in its bulletin carried the following article: Kim Il Sung founded the WPK on October 10, 1945. He led the WPK to victory for a long time. The WPK won victory after victory under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il who successfully carried forward the cause of Kim Il Sung. The exploits of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il will be immortal as they developed the WPK into a party standing in the forefront for independence against imperialism and for defence of socialism. The WPK will shine more brightly as the party of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il as it is led by the dear respected Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the WPK. |
