Invited to the reception were Member of the Federation Council of Russia Konstantin Valeriyevich Tsipko, who is vice-chairman of the Committee of Agriculture and Food Policy and Use of Nature of the Council, and officials of the Foreign Ministry, Defense Ministry, Ministry of Economy and Development, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Extraordinary Situation, Ministry of Transport, Federal Agency of Fisheries, "Russian Railways" Company and the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK.

Kim Yong Jae, DPRK ambassador to Russia, and staff members of his embassy in Moscow attended the reception.

The participants made bows before the full-length picture of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

They looked round photos of their undying revolutionary careers and other photos showing the proud course of the DPRK.

Speeches were made there.

Kim Yong Jae said 64 years ago the diplomatic ties between the DPRK and Russia were established to open up the way for comprehensive development of bilateral relations. He referred to the fact that the relations have favorably developed under the care of the leaders of the two countries.

He said the DPRK government and people value the development of the DPRK-Russia relations with a long history and tradition, expressing the will to make every effort to boost the friendly and cooperative relations in all fields in line with the spirit of joint documents agreed at the top level.

Konstantin Valeriyevich Tsipko said the Russia-DPRK relations based on the principles of equality and mutual respects favor the basic interests of the two peoples, expressing thanks to the friends of the DPRK for sending support to the stand of Russia in the international arena.

He said he was pleased to see Russia-DPRK relations of friendship being invariably developed by the dear respected Kim Jong Un in the spirit of the agreement adopted at the top level during the Russian visit by leader Kim Jong Il last year.

He wished the Korean people fresh and bigger successes in social and economic development and hoped that they would achieve peace and prosperity of the Korean Peninsula under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
