The construction of the base equipped with all modern production processes will help make more contributions to developing the country's economy and improving the standard of people's living.

The workers, technicians and officials of the mine built the base in a little more than a year by their own efforts while over-fulfilling their production plan for mineral ores.

A commissioning ceremony took place on Monday.

Conveyed there was a message of thanks of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea to the workers, technicians and officials who performed labor feats in the construction of the base.

The message highly appreciated the workers, technicians and officials of the mine for successfully building the base true to the behest of leader Kim Jong Il by displaying matchless popular heroism and noble self-sacrificing spirit with infinite loyalty to the party.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants went round the base.
