The statement recalled that the U.S. imperialists recently paved the south Korean puppet forces' way for developing new type ballistic missiles as part of its scenario for a war against the DPRK, and the south Korean Lee Myung Bak group of traitors made public "a missile guidance agreement" based on it.

It is generally known that the U.S. imperialists provided the south Korean puppet army with huge quantities of military hardware to invade the DPRK, the statement said, and went on:

The "agreement" is aimed at mounting a preemptive attack on the DPRK and igniting a new war from A to Z. It is another evidence that clearly proves the U.S. imperialists and south Korean puppet forces' ambition for aggression.

The U.S. imperialists are providing huge quantities of modern destructive weapons to the south Korean puppet army. They, however, should bear in mind that the Korean People's Army is equipped with deterrent powerful enough to wipe them out at a blow.

The army and the people of the DPRK will foil all provocations of war-like forces, firmly defend socialist Korea and surely win a final victory in the sacred war for national reunification.

The statement resolutely rejected the U.S.-south Korea "missile guidance agreement" and expressed full support for the statements made by spokesmen for the DPRK National Defence Commission, the DPRK Foreign Ministry and the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea in condemnation of the agreement.
