The new "missile guidance agreement" recently announced by the Lee Myung Bak regime in league with the U.S. is a challenge to the desire of all Koreans for genuine peace of the Korean Peninsula, and a declaration of a preemptive attack on the DPRK, said the statement.

It denounced the undisguised provocations for igniting a war.

It termed Lee Myung Bak a traitor and war maniac without equals as he has resorted to confrontation with fellow countrymen and provocations for a nuclear war, staking his fate on outsiders in disregard of the peace and reunification of the peninsula.

The lesson the Koreans once again have drawn is that only when they wipe out the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean group of traitors is it possible to achieve durable peace of the peninsula and reunification of the country, the long-cherished desire of the Koreans, the statement said, adding: We will turn out as one in the campaign against the U.S. and the south Korean regime together with the people in the homeland.
