GIs smuggled a large amount of drug into south Korea by using their military mail as a route.

What drew attention is that the quantity of drug seized between Jan. and Sept. this year is 7.7 times as much as that in the past one year alone.

That is enough for dosing out over 57 000 people at a time.

This fact clearly showed that GIs are the root cause and chieftain of the drug-related crimes rampant in south Korea.
