The Nepalese paper Noya Kotparwa carried a portrait of smiling leader Kim Jong Il and introduced the WPK that steadily developed amid the absolute support and trust of the people under his wise leadership.

The Thai paper Xing San Daily devoted one whole page to a special write-up illustrated with a portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il.

The paper said that Kim Jong Il formulated the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung as an integral system of idea, theory and method of Juche.

He developed the President's idea of attaching importance to the army and military affairs as required by the new era and set it forth as an invincible treasured sword for accomplishing the cause of independence, the paper noted, adding:

The immortal feats performed by Kim Jong Il all his life will always remain shining as the most precious legacy guaranteeing the victory of the socialist cause and the accomplishment of the human cause of independence.

The Lao papers Vientiane Mai and Congtap Pasason Lao and the Pakistani paper Baluchistan Times carried articles praising the immortal feats performed by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in the party building under the titles "On the Occasion of the 67th Birthday of the WPK" and "Event to Be Specially Recorded in the History of the WPK ".
