Seminars Held in Different Countries

| Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- Seminars were held in Russia, Cambodia and Belarus from Oct. 5 to 9 on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's election as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, its 67th birthday and the 86th anniversary of the Down-with-Imperialism Union. The editor－in－chief of the Cambodian Newspaper Pracheachon said President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il strengthened and developed the WPK into the party that exists for the people and struggles for their interests. It would be unthinkable apart from their immortal feats that the DPRK is advancing to building a thriving nation full of confidence and is winning victories amid support and trust of the people. Oleg Novikov, chairman of the February 16 Youth Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in Belarus, and other speakers said a key to the ever-victorious record of WPK lies in that it has worked for the people from the beginning guided by the great leaders. They explained and proved the originality, profundity and vitality of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism which is the guiding idea of the party. A letter to the dear respected Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar held in Belarus. |
