Pyongyang, October 20 (KCNA) -- The New Yugoslavia Communist Party of Serbia and the Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea on October 14 made public statements in support of the statements issued by a spokesman for the DPRK National Defence Commission and a spokesman for the Foreign Ministry. The Serbian party in its statement said the U.S. recently paved the way for south Korea's capability to strike any part of the DPRK by extending the missile range from 300km to 800km, thus deteriorating the situation of the Korean Peninsula once again. South Korea's announcement of the "missile guidance agreement" is a grave military provocation to the DPRK, it said, and went on: The U.S. is desperately working to put the south Korean warmongers under its tighter control and use them as shock brigade to ignite a war on the peninsula. We extend full support to all the measures for self-defence taken by the DPRK to cope with the moves of the U.S. and its allies for a war against the DPRK. The Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea said in its statement: The announcement of the "missile guidance agreement" with the U.S. is not a simple guideline for extending missile range. Lurking behind this is the U.S. sinister intention to lay a strategic siege to the Asian continent and establish domination over the region. The announcement of the "missile guidance agreement" will entail such consequences as putting the U.S. mainland at greater peril, it said, expressing support and solidarity with the army and people of the DPRK in their strong stand. |
