Under the title "Historic Roots of the Workers' Party of Korea" it said:

President Kim Il Sung, founder of socialist Korea, formed the Down-with-Imperialism Union (DIU) on October 17, 1926.

The glorious WPK, guiding force of the Korean people, began to take its roots since the formation of DIU.

The WPK has successfully carried forward the tradition of the single-minded unity started by DIU.

Another article "Eternal General Secretary of the WPK" said that the revolutionary ideas and theories of leader Kim Jong Il serve as invariable truth and eternal banner of victory for the WPK and the people in the DPRK vigorously advancing to the final victory in the drive for building a thriving socialist nation. It said Kim Jong Il developed the DPRK into a military power with his unique Songun policy.

Today the Korean people are pushing ahead with the building of a thriving nation, united closely around the Central Committee of the WPK headed by the dear respected Kim Jong Un.
