Present at the meeting were personages and members of the Coordinating Committee, the All-India Anti-Imperialist Forum and organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people and Indian people from all walks of life.

A secretary of the Korean Committee of the Afro-Asian Solidarity was present at the meeting on invitation.

Speeches were made.

Speakers said the historic June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and its practical program October 4 declaration serve as a guide for independent and peaceful reunification of Korea.

A letter to Marshal Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.

A solidarity resolution was adopted in support of the cause of the Korean people for national reunification.

The resolution referred to the immortal feats for Korea's reunification performed by Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Denouncing traitorous moves against reunification of the south Korean regime which totally denied inter-Korean joint declarations and drove the north-south relations to the confrontation phase, the resolution went on:

The meeting strongly demand the imperialist allied forces led by the U.S. and south Korean regime stop anti-DPRK moves and the U.S. withdraw its aggression troops from south Korea at once and lift sanctions and blockade against the DPRK.

We urge the south Korean regime to implement the north-south joint declarations and opt for negotiations for peaceful reunification of the country free from interference and military actions by outside forces.

On behalf of the world progressive people, the meeting sends firm solidarity to the just cause of the Korean people for ensuring peace and security of the Korean Peninsula and achieving independent and peaceful reunification of Korea.
